U can check the 2022 thread (31 Aug) posts. Parent of CHS mentioned that.
From the 2022 discussion, I think another school also, sngs if I haven't mistaken.
And Chs has a few versions , one said rejection out first, another said waiting for MOE updates .

haha, I pray hard the school my child applied to is NOTone of those schools that typically ask for prelim results from the MOE.
No need to ask from MOE

        Because

AFTER your kid's P6 Prelim results is over, your primary school General Office (GO) Admin department will upload all P6 students' Prelim results, into their school's computer database. After uploading, the Form Teacher of each P6 class will print out this results slip for her class students, and distribute to each individually. Then, each student will bring home their hard copy print out of 2nd Semester results and file it back properly, inside their own Report card.

As you may have already known,
all (primary schools' + Secondary schools' )

computer databases are interlinked, inter-connected. Thus, once the P6 Prelim results have been uploaded into the centralised database server by your primary school's Admin staff, should there be any Secondary school DSA panel officer wish to assess any student's Prelim results, before deciding to award any CO or Waitlist in September,

nothing can stop the accessing of P6 Prelim information, if any of such DSA officers decide to. Maybe those Secondary schools that issued DSA notification by end of Aug, won't bother. But those schools that issue DSA notification in September : possible.

Not sure anyone knows how every school operates. However, the general thought would probably be no (if they've even bothered to look at the prelim results at all). More likely, the WL priority was determined when the COs and WLs were issued. Probably more a factor of how a school decides to prioritize domains (and of course a student's relative standing within the domain if there are multiple WLs).

If something else comes through, you'll at least have some certainty (if you want it). Otherwise, it'll be three more months for the outcome...

Good luck for both PSLE and the WL!

Although the databases are interconnected, access requires authorization, and each school's admin only has permission to access their own school's data.

This thing is called \"role-based access control,\" where different roles have different scopes and levels of access permissions.

Only MOE's super admin has the permission to access the database across all schools. and this super permission will never be granted to individual school admins.

Just curious, will the primary school know the student’s DSA results? If yes, will they know earlier than the parents?

The schools will know the results. However, I don't know if they know as each secondary school releases results or if they get some consolidated report later on (and if this is on/around 11 Sept or towards the late-Oct time period to submit preferences).

The school will know the students DSA results coz my kid's school will show what's the percentage of kids accepted for DSA during the psle result speech..went thru 2 times with my kids and twice they present the percentage ...however when they know I'm not sure..
