No it isn't needed to DSA, but they will need to take HCL if they get into SAP schools like HCI and NYGH. Other IP schools offer both Higher and normal Chinese.

Hello, we are looking at applying for DSA in 2024. We understand that it’s now done through MOE online system. Does this mean that a physical portfolio is not needed? The school will retrieve necessary details from MOE cockpit and all relevant photos, certificates etc will uploaded onto the online platform by us?

The school cannot confirm in advance how many people will give up their CO, so it is not possible to notify the WL in advance to convert to CO. -
Compared to the previous years, the DSA 2023 topic seems somewhat ‘quiet.’ As of now, there are only 200+ pages.

Dear all, my son is in P5 this year - for his year end results, it was so-so; 80+ per subject and he got AL12 in total. We're thinking he should focus more on his academics next year.
We are planning to use Robotics as DSA next year, and early next year there's RoboCup competition. For parents with DSA experience, is P6 participation very impt in DSA submission?
We're in 2 minds whether we should let him go for it because the trainings are intense.
In 2022 and 2023 he participated in NRC and RoboCup respectively.
Experienced parents with STEM DSA, appreciate your advices please 🙏 -
For admitted via DSA, and if you do not wish to take up Third Language, does that mean don't need to submit S1 Option Form?
The letter says \"If you are eligible for Third Language but do not wish to take it up, no action is required. \"
