Hi mummies,


Seems a lot of questions have been asked about Pro-Teach AMK at Blk 617. I am one of the mummies here intending to enroll our son there when he gets to P1 next year. Been to the center today, seems ok, except that it is a bit run down.

Anyone kind enough to share about this branch? They have only 3 more vacancies left for P1 next year, and I am getting a bit gan cheong about it now…looks like we need to decide pretty soon.

Any advice/recommendation on this is highly appreciated.

Is the one listed in Horizon Pri Sch located inside the school? Cant seem to find its website. Whats the arrangement like going to an after school care and whats the operating hours?

Pro- Teach in Horizon Pri is located inside the school. They are opened throughout the school terms and school holidays except public holidays and centre closures. You need to note that the centre closures is cap at 11 days due to the location; the centre must be closed for PSLE marking exercise and exams as per MOE’s order.

thanks for the info.Able to shed more light as to whether the teachers in charge are good and professional in teaching the students? Do they follow according to the school syballus?
i have called Pro-teach and the lady was telling me more info can only be available nearer to the P1 registeration in jun/jul 2012.

Hi, I have no additional details on the quality of teachers and syllabus. I have 1 question in mind though. Can they guarantee a place for my kid even though he is in Horizon Pri? If got balloting in the student care centre how?

Anyone got any feedback to share re the Pro-Teach at Toa Payoh CC? I wanted to put my P2 daughter there but there are no slots. Was planning to register my son who’s starting P1 next year, but it would be a logistical nightmare if my son gets a slot (as it is only Feb, he can be guaranteed a place) and the sister does not.


I went there to take a look as my friend highly recommended it (she works in Toa Payoh, kids schooling in Toa Payoh), but I wasn’t very impressed with the centre or the person showing me around.
