Have to be careful there with migraines. It could be sign of an impending stroke, which I had. I've always had migraines since I started work in 1992 and they have been manageable until 5 years back when I had a splitting headache that wouldn't go away for like a couple of days. That was the warning of an impending stroke. Don't play play. And don't just think of it as \"vertigo\"!
My husband has been complaining about his migraines these past few days. Told him to go see dr. but he said it's okay and that it will be gone after few hours. Is there any remedy other than ginger tea that he can drink to lessen migraine?
In any case, since my stroke, I've no headaches or migraines at all :xedfingers: I walk for at least 5km everyday just to protect myself. -

But can ask if there is a way to know if it is a sign of stroke? Like are there other symptoms to look out for? -

Whatever it is, go to see a doctor first and see what the doctor advise. Try to find out what is the root cause of his migraine.

I think it is different for different people. I guess I was lucky to have low blood pressure, so I guess that saved my life. During the stroke, I could feel myself losing control of the left half of my body but I was given another chance by the good Lord, as I awoke intact. The stroke affected my memory and speech, but you learn to use whatever is given to you by God's graces and work around what you no longer have.

Just spend a hour walking everyday, and protect your body because it is on-loan to you. I no longer have any migraines (maybe its because of the blood thinning aspirin I have to take everyday permanently). The headache I got from the stroke was much \"deeper\" than a migraine and I could not even sit up without wanting to throw up. It lasted for more than a day. Then it went away for 3 monthly interval before it finally turned out to be a stroke. And if you encounter a stroke patient, TTSH is the best in Singapore to send the patient. -

I see. Thanks so much for sharing. I already set appointment for near polyclinic this week. A little nervous but hopefully, husband only has normal migraine 🙏
