        SBKS:

i tell my DDs, earn your keep. no do housework, no food for you. :rotflmao: .

no really, they gt to help with housework. but still give food even though no help from them. :imanangel:

even if there is a maid, they should lift a finger...i don't want to raise spoiled brats. at least tidy up their own rooms.
sometimes when son walks off after his meal, i will call him back to put his used bowl/cutlery in the sink

yup..no maid here,. so they gt to do extra to earn their keep. Muahahahah

Once when Porky was so sick of working and told DH that Porky wanted to be a SAHM. Almost immediately DH said, cheaper to have a maid than to have you sitting at home. Besides the two kids will definitely be killed by you in no time. Sigh!

a maid can do housework like washing, cooking, cleaning windows…if they are automatic and doesn’t give problems. but they incur huge PUB bills and also spoil many things in the house too.

as of this year, hubby has been the one doing more coaching with kid…bcos science/math/geography/art not my areas. so I get to enjoy more ME time…but the BEST time for ME time is after they go to school.

Yup! And also, maids can't help kids with their homework, so they can never measure up to a SAHM.

And I know what you mean.. The 6 or so hours in which kids are at school are the best time to just take a chill pill and rejuvenate! Unfortunately for most SAHMs, that time translates to housework time.

maids are maids...they can do housework but they cannot be a mum to the kids.

the moment hubby and kids leave the house for work/school (635am), it's my HAPPY HOUR :rahrah: Monday is busy day because I change floor rugs, vacuum and mop floor...then I cool down in front of the PC. I only need 1.5 hours to do housework. then I blast the songs saved on youtube...absolutely wonderful :imcool:

but housework is never-ending. so I check the fans to see which needs to be cleaned and wash curtains. it's boring but after seeing fans are clean and curtains are different, it puts me in a good mood.

Your hubby goes off so early? Mine does not roll out of the house until 9am..

I sip my coffee every morning to freshen up.
at about 10am, I finish up the rest...my 'ah chek' coffee.
