      Korea! Good choice.

Two friends gave up on Japan because the air ticket prices for Japan shot up a lot !!!

A Pilates classmate flew to Jeju Island via direct flight from SG. She said that previously, tourists could only take internal flights from Korea to Jeju.
I din know now got direct into jeju, save time for one leg of journey .
When is this yr A level ending ? Free soon for one ๐Ÿ™‚ all the best best .

Don't blame yourself for those things that were happened in the past. ๆ—งๆขฆไธ้กป่ฎฐ....[/quote]
I know, blaming myself cant change anything at all. I always envy those who brought their mums out for train rides, holidays etc.

Another bright day and I feel that the sun rises very early nowadays.

My laundry is having its sun tan happily ๐Ÿ™‚

No point looking back at what might have been. I'm sure there were good reasons for your actions, and your mum appreciated your time with her, whether overseas or locally.

I have hardly ever travelled with my parents since I was still a student and living at home. My parents travelled a lot while I was working or busy with kids, and we avoided travelling with them anyway as we are too different in our likes and dislikes, and standard of living. Occasionally we would meet overseas somewhere for them to spend time with our kids and for us to have a break as a couple. Now they are in the 80s, and they have pretty much stopped travelling.

            Related to Healthier SG:

            https://www.straitstimes.com/opinion/forum/forum-preventive-and-chronic-care-at-polyclinics-and-healthier-sg-clinics-will-cost-roughly-same

\"However, illnesses such as flu, which Mr Khongโ€™s wife sought treatment for at a GP clinic, are episodic acute conditions, not meant to be covered under Healthier SG.\"

I gathered that polyclinics may be still a better option for common illnesses.

That can't be true - it's getting towards the winter solstice! It's just the contrast with some of the cloudy mornings recently. But it's nice to see the sun, though I will find it too hot later on. I have to roast veg for a roasted veg salad (potluck dinner tonight).

I feel very busy, and looking forward to Monday when it's back to normal pace. The 2-day course on Gen AI was interesting, but really tiring (Zoom for hours each day!). Last night was entertaining - opening event at the Sg Writer's Festival, and I will be going to another couple of events tomorrow. I can't make it for today's as I have other things on, which is a pity, as a couple of them sound quite interesting.

There are days when even at 7am, the sky is still dim unlike these few days when the sky is bright by 7am.

DH also mentioned that he noticed the sun seems to rise earlier than usual by 10-15mins for the past two months.

Yesterday morning when I went to the toilet, it was already very bright outside, seemed like 7am+. Gave me a shock because I thought we all overslept. DD1 was supposed to reach sch by 7.30am for her A level exam. I quickly went to look at the clock, it was only 6.40am (5mins before my alarm clock was supposed to go off)

Yes, when I see the sky so bright, I thought quite \"late\" only to realise it is just 7am+.
So am not alone to feel it.

Anyway, I like long days and the brightness of the sky cheers me ...
