i need to slowly teach myself šŸ˜„ to let these 2 girls do the housechores. They will do actually..just that i will auto 'snatch' the job and do it on my own. changing the bedsheet for their own bed may be a bit of hard job as the mattress is abt 13in thick and one side leaning to wall..maybe let them do the pillow case changing.

Those heavy mattresses can be difficult. Maybe let her help you when you do it, then she will know how to if she has to. My daughter told me that when she went to OBS in Sec 3, some of her classmates didn't know how to put the sheets on their beds! She had to help them.

I use a dryer as well so it helps. I hot wash all beddings, towels and kitchen cloths. To cover everything, I generally run hot wash cycles twice a week, unless someone is sick, then all his clothes will be hot washed too to prevent the germs/virus from spreading.

Wow, all of you are so disciplined in getting things done. Much as I want to wash my sheets weekly, I find it is such a big hassle so end up doing like once every 2 to 3 weeks. Looks like I must set up a duty roster to get things done regularly.

:salute: šŸ˜“ i m not disciplined at all. i have no fixed schedule at all. ours usually more than 1 month. to stretch the cleanliness , I dont let them jump, play, eat, drink on bed. clothes changed after going out. pyjamas, pants as much as possible not to get pulled up when sleep. if anyone have diarrhea or alike, i get them changed and go wash their bottoms each time after go visit toilet.. i too would prefer the cleaner, fresher and crispier bed sheet..time for me to ve more disciplined šŸ˜‚

I would think they could do it if need to. they start making their bed nowadays..many patterns on how they put the comforter cover (used as blanket). whenever can, I tell them or they see me, many things can be based on what we see, feel or hear, no need to specifically go and learn it..I dont have high standard to begin with šŸ˜‚ but those are mostly house chore la. esp dd1, cannot sleep at one position. all are king size bed and i have to add in a triple layer high single/super single mattress next to it for dd2, whenever she feels having own space. sometimes i could see dd1 feet next to dd2's head.
