very, very heavy rain now, at home. Stuck, cannot go out. Heard thunder

      lightning and thunder...heavy rain.
must pray hard this won't happen on the day I move.

I’m glad the kids are big enough to unpack their own stuff. That leaves me with the master bedroom, kitchen and living room to handle.

Settled hubby and my clothes yesterday. Today brought over some of the kitchen stuff as well as towels/bedsheets. Hopefully I can clear all the stuff in the rooms before the actual move on Friday.

Tomorrow the fridge, sofa and microwave oven will be delivered.
It’s backbreaking every night but the satisfaction of seeing the new flat becoming a home is just awesome!

2 more nights sleeping in this flat and we will be out of this place which we called home for close to 20 years.

Mopped the floor to get rid of the stickiness from the chemical wash…when the floor was dry, the tiles were sticky again. When I asked the ID, he said it will take about 1 week for the floor to be smooth.

Can I check with you ladies? Really don’t know
                    1) where to start mopping the floor from
                    2) where do you drip dry the mop? Toilet or service yard?

Hmm…the floor will be dirty again after the shifting. I did one round of mopping before the shifting.

Then one more thorough mopping n cleaning after the shifting. It took me a week to finish cleaning the furniture etc after shifting.
I m still unpacking n arranging my barang ever since the shifting last april…very slow hor…very reluctant to store the things in cabinet n drawers. There is still smell despite i hv put charcoal , dehumidifier etc …

I no energy to squeeze dry dry so drip dry in toilet . Hang up on a small hook .my kitchen is big enuff so My yard can be kept cluttered free, I keep it like a balcony area for yum cha
