Me Time!

This I agree. I had hamsters in my late teens. I would play & talk to one particular one & I can still remember how much I enjoy looking at the expression. Sometimes they actually look as tho they were listening. :)
starlight1968sg:
And probably less frustrating since they don't talk back.

They wont talk back, but they would show you an expression that is up to you to interpret
This is the fun part.
I have a pet then. My dd2 looked like a super chubby chinchilla when she was a baby  -
What did u feed your DD2? or she simply got good appetiteโฆ

I talk to ants and lizards. Usually trying to persuade them to leave my house as I really do not wish to ๆ็. Amazingly, it works sometimes
I don't even have any pets in the hse - instead I talk to inanimate objects like our car, piggybank etc. DS always ask me why am I talking to these inanimate objects?! But ... but... I enjoy these little ่ช่จ่ช่ฏญ leh...too free/lonely liao...

Sleepy, so impressive tat you have such skill. I can only play hide and seek with the insects and lizards in my house.

My ME time:
After breakfast at McDonald, I went to ntuc, cold storage, giant and wet market. Bought few things at each place.
Very "productive" but relaxing, enjoying the feeling of spending money and time leisurely.
Once home, pack, cut, prepare for dinner.
Spent some time watching my hamsters though most are sleeping. One little "boy" is super active and still running on his wheel during broad daylight, another is kicking his food in his food bowl which I asked whatโs up. He didnt reply me and I guess he liked to spread his food all around. -

I normally get to talk to DH when it's late, after kids all asleep. If I try any of those methods, he'll just tell me, it's late. Sleep! :slapshead: Then how?bb_ mom:
I'm like TA, must have reply. Sometimes when DH doesn't talk to me, I already irritated. :stompfeet: How to talk to animals or inanimate objects?
U tried those methods I shared? Those attention seeking methods.. -

When I was having breakfast this morning, I could see people rushing to the mrt station to catch the mrt to work while I was sipping my cup of hot coffee with one hand, and another holding a storybook. I told myself to RELAX and ENJOY the time.
Now thinking where to go before I start preparing the dinnerโฆ
Why time flies ? -
