Every night, I rush to get clothes washed and hung up by 830 so that I can coach daughter. It's a mad rush everyday. Also need to replenish groceries.

Sorry. If you start at 830pm, what time do you finish with DD's revision?

Depends on school homework she has for the day...if math/science, hubby will attend to her. In any case, I still rush to get clothes done so that I am available once she is done. But Thursdays are jam packed with additional math homework :? , so I do not allocate her anything else.
Last night, I gave her English comprehension. She took a while longer. After explaining her mistakes, it was about 10.

Why can't wash in morning? I usually do laundry in morning.

The morning sun is scorching hot...so I have to wash at night to block out the sun. Mornings, I either vacuum or mop the floor. So it is a mad rush to do everything together.

I do not use curtains in the kitchen.

Smell from cooking sticks to curtain…lazy to take down and wash.
Nights, I wash clothes. Mornings I am free. Want to vacuum/mop, just do. Not in the mood, ME time.

If your daughter had a nap in the afternoon I suppose 8.30pm is ok. But if she didn’t then it is not an effective time to revise.

Oh yes, that beauty sleep is important to get work done. Or else she will be a zombie at dinner time.

Nap? I thought most kids outgrow naptime by P1? It's not a good time to revise cos scientifically proven that brain processing will be limited after a certain hour at night? Alamak! DS starts Part 2 of revision at 8pm.

Why need to rush, can put the clothes in the machine and set it wash in the late afternoon. And if cooking, can don’t hang out until after cooking is done. Alternatively, put the clothes in the washer at night, set it to wash in the wee hours and when you wake up ready for you to hang out, before the sun is up. Or let the clothes wash during dinner and hang it up after you are done with your DD’s revision.
