I guess it is 先苦后甜or 先甜后苦。I also prefer to work my chores around the children where possible. Anyway, for children with learning disabilities, catching them at their \"best\" time is important because they fatigue more quickly. So it is also a matter of maximum gain for minimum effort in shortest possible time frame. Just a thought. 🙂

usual practice...wash and hang clothes at night.

how else can I sit comfortably in front of PC without interruption in the morn?
Do you use a very long wash? I use a short wash, so my clothes are washed by the time my kids leave for school. Now that I save the water from the last rinse, I set it so that it stops before the final rinse so I can transfer the outlet tube before starting it again, but I do that between kids leaving (they leave at different times). I have breakfast with my husband, clear up the breakfast stuff, hang the clothes, and can be at my computer by 7-ish.

usually for school homework, I do not want to get involved...if she makes mistakes, at least teacher will know and she has to do corrections.
she has math homework everyday...so that gives me time to get things done.
when she is done with her school work, she will look at the schedule to see what i have planned for her for that day. so by 9pm, i will mark her work and explain any mistakes made.

Same here. I dont check whether my kids make mistakes or not in their homework. I just check to make sure they finish all the pages that are required by their teachers.
This will help the teachers to know whether the kids understand what are being taught in class.
Hw need to complete beforr they go to bed at nite. In the morning, they will do the assessment books that i gave them. I will mark and explain their mistakes.
They start doing their assessment books at 8am, so before 8am all my laundry are washef and hang up to dry.
The dynamo liquid clothes detergent is very good, the clothes still smell nice even though i hang my clothes indoors during raining days.

On some days when i need to bring them out early in the morning for enrichment class, i will wash my laundry at nite.

              Hi fb555,

              :hi5:
If kids get everything correct with parents' help, teachers will think kids understand. Get it wrong, kids have to do corrections and will learn from mistakes :xedfingers: ...as long as school work is done, time to move on.
Pushing hard for cloze and comprehension now.

My alert triggered whenever they need my signature. Sometimes quite nasty surprise :skeptical:

Everything has to be signed...from 听写, spelling, forms, test results.
My daughter will be sheepish when she has 听写 for me to sign...knowing well she has flunked.

Not surprising. I behaved the same way when I was young, getting the signature from my mother is as hard as winning a toto.

I do not have a strict schedule to meet in terms of doing chores. It is mostly On Time On Target for me. My preference is to wash and hang up at night so that i can take them out under the hot sun in the morning. If i am busy at night, i will wash real early in the morning like 5.30am so that i can still catch the morning sun. No stress for me doing house chores.

What I am happy with my kids is their honesty.
Even if they fail or marginally passed, they will still show me and not forge.
I hope they will continue to be honest in their lives.
