Provided you look the age?A lot of people also do not believe that my wife is over 30 with 2 young princesses in tow.2 more enroute too.

I don't think the main issue is the age thing, it's more about whether the school would appreciate non-students to be wearing the uniform for non-sanctioned events.

Just spoke to the principal of the school that I am putting both zehzehs in,he offered places for them in his school provided they start in P4 in 2018.

That will mean they will be 2 yrs behind their age cohort? Looks like he thinks they are quite behind the Sg school standard. If you and they are OK with that, it's fine, but it means they may not be allowed to repeat any year in future. Perhaps you could accept the offer, but ask the principal to test them at the end of the year, and if they have improved enough, let them enter P5 instead? But you will have to ensure that they do some catch-up work over the next few months. In fact, if you definitely want them to go to Sg school next year, you could just withdraw them from the JB school now and let them focus on the catchup. You could send them for some tuition or AEIS prep classes for the next few months so they have some guidance as to what and how to prepare, and save the time and effort travelling back and forth every day. Since they haven't been in the JB school very long, they won't have built up close friendships etc and may not mind stopping.

Instead of sending them for tuition, maybe my wife can set up a timetable for them and assign them work to do when we are at work?

Another way is since they are going to take their exams in 3 months time, might as well let them finish and come in to P4 in SG next year?

If your wife is prepared to teach them in the evenings, and your MIL is around to keep them to a schedule, it may work OK. Kids at this age are unlikely to be able to discipline themselves to work steadily in the absence of supervision, and they may not be able to \"teach themselves\" by just doing assigned work. Unless there is someone to teach and supervise at least 50% of the time, I think it would be better to leave them in school, and accept that they will have to start from P4 next year.

If they and you are happy for them to be in a class with classmates 2 yrs younger, then you can just accept the school's offer as is. But it may become uncomfortable for your daughters, especially as they at the age of puberty when they are at different stages of development from their classmates. The differences may be very great and there can be teasing etc. Also, if your daughters are maturing fast (and it seems your older one is), then the difference in outlook may also be great and make it hard to make and keep friendships.

And as I pointed out earlier, if you think your daughters may need an extra year somewhere along the way, eg. repeating JC1 or whatever, the age difference will become 3 yrs, and MOE may not allow.

Sorry, there was a typo error cos my phone is new and I am unfamiliar with it.

The principal of the school offered them to repeat P5 in 2018.I may have pressed 4 by mistake instead of 5.

Oh, OK then. Then no strong reason to take them out of school now, I guess. They can do some catchup in the Nov-Dec holidays.

My wife told me to make the decision as she will follow what I decided.Accepted the principal's offer after some thinking in the car.

Glad to find a school for both girls but just found out that DD2 failed her Chinese test for the 2nd time in a row when both girls brought out their papers for me to sign.

                  She got 44 while DD1 got 68.

Wrong in what sense? I don't think her being pregnant has any bearing (unless she is obviously pregnant, then it's not very good for the school's reputation!). Some schools may restrict uniforms for \"official\" purposes and may not like uniforms to be worn for other purposes, even by alumnae.

Don't overindulge your wife - if she gains too much weight, it will not be healthy for her pregnancy. And some of those foods may just add calories without much nutrition. She should eat healthily and wisely - get her to read it up for herself so she knows.

i personally find not very nice to wear jc uniform out when you already out fm school šŸ˜„

any special \"back to sch\" event , to wear jc uniform . or FF likes to see wifey in jc uniform :?[/quote]i also think ff likes it lei šŸ˜‚

ff, u make me/maybe us curious..why yr wifey likes to wear her jc uniform arh? to make sure she maintained her weight? what happened if see her students when in the uniform ?
