My mum had obesity and was advised to consider surgery because her weight was affecting her health and she was at higher risk of developing diabetes. We consulted Dr Shanker, a Bariatric Surgeon in Singapore, and he recommended surgery based on her condition. She had a sleeve gastrectomy, which helped with significant weight loss and managing her weight better.
