IMHO, this is common of Apple products.oh, battery life !
it is definitely dropping faster than a nokia, but is about twice that of the 3GS. mine is lasting 2 days for one full charge, quite a lot emailing and some internet update on financial markets, and some trunk calls, using lots of WiFi; on a purely standby basis, it was down 10% on a recent 24 hours continuous period of standby
I have the same problem with my first-generation iPhone, iPod, Ipod Nano and iTouch. DH also has this problem with his iPhone 3GS. -

is his 3GS's battery life one day ? (as some of my friends were telling me....every nite must recharge in full for the next day)

I bought mine when it launched in Singapore.
The only problem I have is Bluetooth handfree.
The call drop when I used Bluetooth and sometimes the call is very very soft.
The recent iOS4.1 seems to have fixed the above problem for me.
It claims that the antenna issue is also resolved.
All in all I am happy with my iPhone 4.
Have been a Apple-converted since I bought my iPad from US in May this year. -

Yes just about.
One day meaning during working/waking hours i.e. about 12 or so hours. -

I have yet to get a car kit/holder. You mean it will turn on the bluetooth automatically when you turn on the radio?
Which Car kit are you using? I heard the iPhone 3GS car kit is not compatible to the iPhone 4 .. so I have been waiting.
Meanwhile, I just bought a Plantronics bluetooth handfree for driving.
