wow, twice a day ? or once in two days ?
no kidding but it is really 1 day charge 2 times
thanks for these tips!hapydino:
You can check if these settings are always ON because they can consume up battery if set to ON. I would only set ON when I want to use these features.
Notifications
WIFI
Location services
And if you are using OS4, please remember to clear those applications you have used. If not they would be running \"behind\". A quick double click of the round home button, click and hold on one of the applications, you would see the cross X. Delete them one by one.
my iPhone4 needs to charge twice a day!
just went to off the notifications, wifi and adjusted the brightness.

thanks, i shall try this out once a week if possible (cuz kiasu)..Another tips for good battery practice. Do this once a month - Try to use your iphone till it off by itself (totally flat), then go for a full charge.
Actually I read in some place, the best to charge is when it reach 40%, this is to maintain good battery life. During weekends when I don't go out, I would do that.

Gecko... given that I can probably use the other 3/4 of the iPhone 4 which you cannot use, if you let have your iPhone 4 I can grudgingly let you have my well loved Nokia. It's not a fair trade, but what are friend's for?

Wow...Chief u r fast! -

No matter how large the battery is, if you are online all the time (ie. you have push notifications turned on for all your apps and your email), you'd be lucky to last more than half a day. Then again, what's battery life for if you don't use that phone to do all these good stuff?jtoh:
Is the battery life for the iPhone 4 an improvement over the 3GS?
yes, double the usage, or double the battery life
okay, I was comparing based on similar usage pattern between Nokia and Iphone......
but anyway, like you said, those good stuff and apps are to be used - battery life is secondary -
Just wondering wat happens when we over stretch e battery, overuse e phone, does it make e phone die a sooner death? Battery is irreplaceable right?

For my 3GS, I set all notifications OFF to conserve energy. To check email, I ‘push’ mail.
I’m waiting for end of Oct to recontract. Oh yes, someone also told me to switch off WIFI. -
