      Do NUS High

keep track of where their graduates go to, after graduation with a Diploma ?

      Eg.

keep track of, monitor which overseas / local university their NUSH graduates go to, and study which course / faculty course work ?

NUSH (like all other JC and Schools, and even University) do not keep track of their graduates officially.

There will be a group of ex students that the teachers do keep in contact with them.
And ex students usually keep in contact with each other.

During the 6 years - they created a very strong bond with each other.
It helps when the size of the cohort is not large. So everyone will know each other in the same cohort.

With Social Media - Instagram and fb- keep touch is easier than our time.

With time, these students usually rise to leadership positions in their organizations or field.

            Hi,

Seeking reviews of Future Academy IP Math Tuition from experienced parents here.
Are the teachers good? Based on personal experience, some tuition centres change teachers without telling parents, especially when they are replacing a more experienced or popular teacher with a trainee teacher. Does Future Academy do that? For example, have you ever signed your DC up for a class initially taught by Ms Chen or Mr Lau, and halfway through the year, the centre changed the teacher?
Grateful for any advice or experience before I sign up with them. Thanks so much.

Hi, my DS is a Sec 3 DSA Student in an IP School.

He is considering the IB program and would like to transfer to either ACSI or SJI after Year 4.
I know that there has been many discussion on this matter some time ago; wondering if there has been any new policies for Transfers recently. Read the SJI website and they mentioned a possibility. Not sure ACSI.

DSA students in IP have to stay in the school for the 6 years. I don’t know any exceptions can be made.

The SJI website mentions a possibility for regular students in IP transferring to SJI for yr 5 and yr 6. By regular students, I would imagine they went into their IP schools using PSLE results. These are not Sec-DSA students.

                    Hi, thanks for reply.

DSA commitment is only to the 4 years (his is IP to a JC). No further commitment for the Sports in JC.

I read the offer letter also and the commitment to the Sports is to the Secondary School. Students are \"expected\" to honour their commitment for the 6 year program.

Reason I am posting is because I have read through KSP and seems like general interpretation is that you cannot transfer out if you are a DSA student. And that DSA students are not able to move out.

But I have also heard of a Boy from ACSI who DSAed into the O Level Program. At Sec 3, he transferred to the IB Program, technically no longer in the O Level Program and no longer bounded to the Sports.

So there are many intepretation but was hoping to hear from actually cases before I apply to the school.

                    Appreciate your feedbacks.

                      Hi

Do check with MOE and the school you are applying to. It seems like MOE may have certain rules (ot widely publicized, but enforced via schools) about students switching between IP programmes mid-way.

Yes, if there other cases, do check around. I hadn't heard of such cases.
