Based on your experience, do u think 8Gb is sufficient if I do not download movies? Mostly children's apps.

Yes...by connecting to a wifi network (at your home/office or wireless@SG). Since iPod Touch is not iPhone, you can't insert a SIM card and surf with the 3G network. Wifi is the only way to do it.sand:
Err...Can I surf the internet using iPod Touch? Err can download books to read too? emmm yes I did try surfing apple.com to find out myself but I end up kinda confused..
Not so sure about reading books on a 3\" screen...you might want to use an iPad to do that. -

In my over 40 years of existence, I have yet to own an Apple product!! :faint:
So I have absolutely no idea how big those apps are. Someone else will have to answer you that.

If the device contains only Apps and no media, 8Gb is more than enough.

the itouch 4G is 111 x 58.9 x 7.2 mm (4.4 x 2.3 x 0.28 inches), maybe you can check with your friends who have the 3G model. -
