Read somewhere that iPad 2 is coming out next year. Not sure when tho. So, if no hurry to get yet, wait for version 2?

Shud be firm, next Feb!

Anyone prefers the Samsung Galaxy Tab? I find the iPad is nothing more than a big iPhone. I don’t use the desktop or laptop regularly so it’s useful to have a device that supports flash. It’s annoying having to run to the comp everytime you hit a site that requires flash. The Galaxy’s also lighter n fits better in handbags:) It’s also a lot cheaper than the ipad altho it comes bundled with a plan. It seems easier to type on a ipad tho-there seems to be some sort of lag when typing with the Galaxy.

Sorry if i sound like a techie-idiot cos i am... :oops:ksi:
Will the iPads for auction have Wifi only or Wifi +3G?
Only Wifi. I have the Wifi+3G model and realized I hardly use the 3G on that model. I carry around a portable Wifi router that works with all my laptops and the iPad when I need to get connected and if Wireless@SG is not available.
This Wifi router.... issit something that one needs to subscribe like
mobile broadband kinda thingy... and can use anytime anywhere? -

It is a small 3G mobile device. Yes, you would need to subscribe to a telco mobile data plan and insert the sim card into this router.

It allow up to 5 devices; like iPad, notebook, etc, to simultaneously connect to it and share the mobile broadband. -

Unlikely.... unless you talking about the old current ipad.
Same concept with iphone, the generation does not matters, what really consumer care is whether can run their fav game in the ipad/ipad2. Of course, ipad2 will be faster and energy saving compare to their 1st gen!
