The shop-keeper recommend buying the white-lotus paste one if you want less sweet. So I bought the white-lotus one instead of the usual brown ones. Can try! -
I think I’m gonna swing by Bengawan Solo to get the mooncake to satisfy my craving. I used to frequent the Bengawan Solo at King Albert Park, but they’ve closed that branch few months ago… So now got to go elsewhere to get it…

Is the one at United Square still there ? King Albert Park is convenient, first hour free parking...Cold Storage seems to be undergoing a major make over...they cleared out Cedele and 7-11 at Jelita too.... -

Yes the BS at United Square is still there... But yes like you, I find the KAP branch really convenient, especially if I'm in a hurry. Hubby will drop me, I run in grab the cake while he makes a turn to pick me. So convenient! -

I haven't tried it before, that's why I'll be getting one piece only (if they sell per piece). I personally prefer Mariott's white lotus. :love: -
