To make thing worse, the media interviewed the victor Cat High principal and he gleefully said :"‘We are very pleased. We had been applying for the programme at every opportunity, but it was only now that we hit upon the right formula.’, while they leave SJI who has just lost their girl friends in the cold.

But who's running the JC? That's the important question. And will it mean that the three schools will coordinate their programmes so that they dovetail at the JC level?

I've so many questions about the new JC too. Where will it be? Why not just merge with NJC which is not too far from these three schools? With a declining birthrate, should we still be building more JCs?

i wonder what are they going to call the new JC? SCCJC? CCJC? SJC?

So to clarify, is it that P6 pupils taking PSLE in 2012 can choose to apply for Sec 1 in the following IP schools?

            1. CHS/SCGS/SNGS (A level in new JC)
            2. DHS (6-year A level)
            3. HCI/NYGS (A level in HCI-JC)
            4. NJC (6-year A level)
            5. RVHS (6-year A level)
            6. TJC (6-year A level, extended downward from 4-year A-level)
            7. RI/RGS (A level in RI-JC)
            8. VS/Cedar (A level in VJC)

            The IB schools are:
            1. ACS/MGS (IB programme)
            2. SJI (IB programme)

NUSH offers neither A-level nor IB.

That's a total of 17 schools, not 11+7 as previously mentioned by PM. Did I miss anything out? Unless someone forgot to minus one from the initial 11 (which will be VJC since they will take in students from 2 of the new IP schools).

going by top 10% of cohort computation, will the COP for PSLE 2010 rise to at least 250 for these schools?

If it does, all I know is tuition centres will have more business...
