I assume your hubby is an old boy and is therefore assured of a place there? Personally I feel that if you have a chance to get into ACS, go for it. It’s the one school that has the full range of primary, secondary and post-secondary to cater for their students, weak or strong academically. For secondary, the stronger students can opt for ACSI, the weaker ones for ACSB. At post-secondary, there’s IB at ACSI or A levels at ACJC. There’ll be little stress in terms of finding a good secondary school or JC once you’re in the system.

Tampines is a little far, but friends who live as far away as Tampines, Sembawang, Seletar etc who go to ACS say it’s worth it and after all, you have the expressways to make the journey shorter.

Yes you can. I encountered someone went to GEP program in diff school and his younger brother entitled for either one of them.

Yes, I am able to confirm, double confirm and even triple confirm on this point. 😉

However, he should qualify under P2A2, and not P2A1.

Hi qms, so proud harr? Your kids must have gone to GEP program right? 😉

              hi,

Anyone can analyse P2B > 2km at NH for me?

Ballot like last year within 2km. Do u want to take the risk? Or register in SVPS in P2A2?

But last year was strange. I remember in prior years, NH was hotter than NYPS - balloting within 1km in phase 2B.
Hi fellow parents,

I am wondering if any one of you have come across my situation.

I studied in ACS primary (coleman st) from primary 1 - 3 and was subjected to streaming in primary 3. My result weren’t good enough for me to continue in ACS primary and was then sent to another school.

In your opinion, am I still eligible to be considered as an old boy and register for category 2A1 ?

                    Your feedback is much appreciated.

                    Cheers.

MOE rule only that ex-pupils who studied in that school. I recall someone only studying in a school for 1 year - also can qualify under 2A. Just turn up with your report book.

                    thank you.
Yes, u can register under 2A2. I'm also from ACPS(Coleman St).cheers 😄
NCPS if you are within 1km, quickly go join Hokkien Huay Guan. Then your chances may be higher. Check past ballot history, P2B only ballot for 1-2km. So within 1km got hope for P2B. P2C numbers very high even within 1km (success 1 in 3).

pen dear, i can only rely on the PV 🙏 that they call in sept if not also no choice le, has to give up
P2C is no hope for us as we are 1-2km... cant join the hauy guan as we are not hokkien, only my mom is but also cant help

Your mum is Hokkien , u are not? :scratchhead:
Now I fully understand. 😄

Because my father and mother are both Hokkien. 😄
