Order from Dangdang

I placed my order on 20 may and although the status on dang dang show that the goods have been delivered, I have received nothing. I called the customer service and they told me to check with the local post office which I did to no avail.

It's normal. The updates in the system are auto once it passed 8wks. My deliveries were all late except one. I have rec'd all my orders.

Thanks all for your assurances. At least I can just wait and not have to worry. I noticed that on their site it says that if we order more than rmb 4000 we cn ask them for a discount.

Does it not make sense to consolidate our doers then?

Btw my order has the rr tracking number but signpost (1605) say they haven re rod of it.

4000RMB??? Woah, that will be A LOT of books. Plus, it’ll surely attract GST. that 7% may not be worth the discount dangdang gives, plus the additional headache of sorting out whose books these are.

Hee, you are right....i did not think about the 7% GST. Really not worth the hassle at all.

Does any one have any recommendations for a P2 boy? My hit rate has not been very high with past purchases - so far he likes about 50% (optimistic estimate) of the books I have bought.

Thks for all the advises! I have email them 2days ago to enquire on the tracking no. Got their reply today and had check up on the status. Parcels had reached Guangzhou already. Seems like I need to wait for another 6/7 sweet weeks b4 it reaches me...... Haiz.... Long wait, but still excited to see my loots once arrived. Cheers to all the great mummies who have gone through this waiting process!!

My on line orders, one on 14 May and the other on 31 May also still yet to recd!

Status show:
Order on 14/5, the status - at transit office of exchange as at 1/6
Order on 31/5, the status - departure from outward office of exchange as at 14/6

Think by the time I recd may be PSLE just over!

Have you receive your books? My books ordered on 19 May and 6 June are not here yet!
