Hi mummies, is there a thread of your/ your kids fave books from dang dang? I would like to buy but the range is mind boggling!. Have seen some of tamarind’s recomm in the other thread ( thanks tamarind) but wondering if there is a consolidated thread? Thanks

Have been trying to order from DD for the past month, unfortunately none of the CR cards (OCBC, DBS or Citibank) I tried with were successful!


Have just about given up trying to order, cos not only is it frustrating to try to make payment repeatedly, but would have to also call up each CR card co. thereafter to double-check whether the transaction was successful.

Despite the tempting cheap and wide variety at DD, it has indeed been a real challenge for me to even try to make an order on DD, this is apart from the long delivery time which I probably would have to face thereafter!

There's this person 'twinkledelight' who's selling brand new books from china - I think these are probably from dangdang. I got some from her some time back and all were BN. When i bought, the prices were about DD prices had I shipped from china by myself. Think she's adjusted the prices since then, but can take a look.

Take the premium you pay as the price for not having to pull hair.

I'm still waiting for my 2nd shipment. I have faith to keep waiting (more importantly, I have lots of other books yet to be touched).

FYI, I do not know that seller very well. When i bought, I met up and money/books changed place at the same time (so no worries that she run away).

I think you should write in.. cos if our books are really on the same boat, and if there are more ppl who did not receive.. then DD shld check it up with chinapost with a shorter time frame.
