Heard Yesturday chinese topic about small group activity.... Many students cannot answer without further prompting .... If I were the kid I might not know how to answer also ...

Don't worry lah, it's over.
Anyway RI not emphasizing that much on Chinese.
The most vivid impression my DS had with RI was when he was waiting to sit for his GAT, this entire class of JC students were celebrating and screaming at the top of their voice that their Chinese lesson was canceled.
Since then he keeps saying that's his type of school..

Ha Ha ....
Now this is a typical Stereotype impressions on RI ....
And HCI ....
When it comes to CL, Right?

Dd is back from EL Oral. PD is about a clinic (a man paying to the cashier, a mother comforting her child in a bandage, a mother carrying a baby, two boys fighting over a car, a food pyramid poster on the wall) & C is about what is the one time that you visit the clinic. I guess it is easy as her TR went thru this topic b4.

You are so fast. DS just reached home and he said exactly the same, not in detail though.

Looks like today EL oral has more activities to talk about than yesterday. CL oral picture is easier than yesterday.

Finally, PSLE oral is ovr. Can take a short brk b4 cheonging for the PSLE.

Pinky88, next week is Prelims for DS. No break!!!

Think most of the school prelims will be next week then another one week later 2011 prelim papers will be on sales!

your Boy must have told the Examiner he's not been to a Clinic before ....

Yup...juz less than 10 mins walk ...but this is the last yr for such previlege unless we shift hse..

Dunearn/Bukit Timah area very nice neighbourhood but floods easily nowadays.

Then Make Sure U Choose an Area that is high Up in the Hill -lor!

Hi My DS also mentioned the same thing. He said it's quite easy.

Finally oral is over.
I've ask him to check up NJC website for info to prepare for the interview tomorrow.
Somehow feel need a CO to feel safe.
Anyway we like NJC and feel that the environment is probably less stressful for DS.

All the best to yr DD in her DSA to DHS too.
Do many of her classmates apply DSA to DHS? Do share with us the outcome? I would like to know what are the chances for the mainstream to get to DHS through DSA (academics). I know for RI, it is almost zero chance, for HCI, there is still hope.

Ngbrdad, just to share what I heard from a pupil's mum who received WL for RI in 2009. That boy had CO from nush n HCI, but WL from RI. Even tho he's not in RI now (prefers nush), his mother said most WLs were given CO upon psle results for those who indicate RI as their first choice. This is becos from the places allotted for sec 1 posting, they will pull out some n give to those in WL first.
