Brenda10:
from the looks of the current 2010 COP for top schools, especially the upward trend for the 7 new schools that are going into IP for 2011 PSLE cohort of students, the COP for all IP schools will likely be at least 250 for 2011 Sec School intake. Every mark in the PSLE matters.

Look like we will have hard time next year. 😞

PSLE is the New \"O levels\", the chance to get to the Top JCs by the IP route.
Hi,
What's the current placing for the top JCs?

        Merry X'mas to all!

          Hi

Just to check - since at P6 level, the students will be learning Algebra in Maths, is it ok for them to do problem solving using the algebra method or they have to stick to the model method ?

          Thanks.

          MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!

Model method is the MOE developed method. It should be the best method to use. Algebra at P6 level is not effective.

The thot that it is school reopen and P6 so soon scares me, but also need to let the kid enjoy the festive season rather than pile last min work. It is a "long" and stressful 10 months - certainly do not want the kid to run out of steam before the PSLE.

Merry Christmas and Happy 2011 to all!

                  Hello Pen88n,

                  Yes , very true.

Resting is to have a better stamina as one moves on.

Just being consistent is good enough.

                  Regards
                  Lynn2
