You're right. All these are new to us. Perhaps I phrase it wrongly should be learn those things that we have never learnt before donkey's year ago.
Brenda, you are a good mum and so hands-on with learning with your DD.
We had learnt??? I must say there are a large part we have not learnt: modelling for Maths, the vocab and phrases used in English (so chim!), the Science application type of questions......or have I return all to my teachers???Pen88n:

Never mind. Once in a life time and can revise those things that we had learnt donkey’s years ago.
I've not been too hands-on and only guide now and then. Told DS the other day I sat for my PSLE donkey years ago. Now I've to sit for PSLE again with him, and then with the young one - 3 rounds of PSLE! I sincerely hope I do not have to sit for \"O\" Levels with the 2 of them down the road

No leh. All mothers are the same.
DD is the only child and therefore is very much easier to just focus on one person. I am also not sure is our method correct but just ensure that she is doing at least some of the work in the daily basis. Don't worry and I believe all your three children will be able to bypass the 'O' Level'.

That's a good way to relax! thanks!NB:
Calling all PSLE Parents? do you feel the stress now? I need some tips on how to destress my child. Simple Ways for DS to relax daily! Thanks
I just told my boy to make sure he goes downstairs to run around at least 3x/week. But he happily goes everyday if it's not raining. haha. -

Hi NB
I also feel that the stress is too early and the peak should be after June. -

Curious why stress comes so early ? Would u mind sharing ?
Erm, i wasn't the one who mentioned stress. haha. but I did want my son to exercise regularly and play outdoors as I do believe it will have a positive impact on his academic studies, and no better time than to start now at the beginning of the year bc I know how busy it can get later on.
That's a good way to relax! thanks!NB:

So far so good, I think, but only the beginning. In my son's school, they started with supplementary lessons last week (week 2) already. 2 weekdays and 1 saturday. And he still has CCA days so that means he only has 1 weekday afternoon free, but he has his music lesson on that day, so everyday he's back home only around 5pm anyway.
Manage to do all the school homework. They've started on past-year papers already (topical). We've really not managed to do much revision since he started school, sadly. Not sure if to be worried in that respect! My boy is a slow worker, so he takes quite long just finishing his schoolwork, which I don't really find to be all that much. But others might beg to differ. -

You are most humble....you're a very hands-on and dedicated mum. I'm sure your DD appreciates having you as the pillar of support.
I think your method seems to be working well and your DD's stellar academic achievements is a testimony of that.

Aiyoh. You are making me . Everybody has their own method and end of the day we just have one same objective that wish our children do well.
Let's wish all the P6 children have a wonderful result in this coming PSLE. :celebrate:
Thank you -
Just to share with you all my experience.
I sent my DD to creative horizons for English enrichment.
DD didn’t make it for the placement test and they can’t take her in.
very sad. She will take the test again this sunday. finger cross -
