Erm, i wasn't the one who mentioned stress. haha. but I did want my son to exercise regularly and play outdoors as I do believe it will have a positive impact on his academic studies, and no better time than to start now at the beginning of the year bc I know how busy it can get later on.
Curious why stress comes so early ? Would u mind sharing ?Mum1113:

That's a good way to relax! thanks!
So far so good, I think, but only the beginning. In my son's school, they started with supplementary lessons last week (week 2) already. 2 weekdays and 1 saturday. And he still has CCA days so that means he only has 1 weekday afternoon free, but he has his music lesson on that day, so everyday he's back home only around 5pm anyway.
Manage to do all the school homework. They've started on past-year papers already (topical). We've really not managed to do much revision since he started school, sadly. Not sure if to be worried in that respect! My boy is a slow worker, so he takes quite long just finishing his schoolwork, which I don't really find to be all that much. But others might beg to differ.
haha, I mentioned \"stress\" just curious if any parents started to feel it.
Mum1113 ā \"worry\" probably instead of stress I should say, wonder if kid have enough time to rest, supp class started this week + CCA, 4 full day @ sch, with homework & tuition work to complete. So far, ds is coping well I just need to ensure he have enough rest too.
-
NB:
So far haven't felt stress yet. May be the 1st stree will kick off if the CA 1 Exam is not performing well. Just my 2 cents thoughthaha, I mentioned \"stress\" just curious if any parents started to feel it.

Have time for everything with 4 full days in school? Still have time for tuition? Mine doesn't but has 2 music classes (maybe can consider 3 even but that's theory and will end soon. haha!). At least music is not \"studying\". -
Another tuition centre which screens students? Are they any good? Where are they located?
They are located along katong, you may check their websites

NB - absolutely agree with you, worry should be the word and I feel this too actually. Mine has 3 days of supp class and 3 days of tuiton classes to go (practically back-to-back every day). Am also worried if he would be able to take it as dont' wish to see too early kind of 'drainage of energy' when more is to come as the days and weeks pass. However, dd is sensible to say this one day ..\"mum actually I dont' know what is stress and I dont' think I feel stressed, except for the pressure to complete hw , hw and hw again. \" Upon hearing this, I feel bad but at the same time feel dd is sensible to balance his tight schedule with his light hearted attitude. Each day dd will also try to catch a nap of 30-60 mins of nap time to recharge battery ! This works very well so far ! Also agree with phankao and encourage dd to go jogging at least 2 times a week (provided no rain this days haha) Stress probably come when CA1 does not show expected results like Brenda10 mentioned. -

Don't flame me - mine now playing xbox after coming back late from school plus music lesson which all ended at 6+pm. And after practising, he's zoning out in front of the screen!

Glad to know that everybody is not stress now. Just came back with dd after shopping.
Cheers
