NB - absolutely agree with you, worry should be the word and I feel this too actually. Mine has 3 days of supp class and 3 days of tuiton classes to go (practically back-to-back every day). Am also worried if he would be able to take it as dont' wish to see too early kind of 'drainage of energy' when more is to come as the days and weeks pass. However, dd is sensible to say this one day ..\"mum actually I dont' know what is stress and I dont' think I feel stressed, except for the pressure to complete hw , hw and hw again. \" Upon hearing this, I feel bad but at the same time feel dd is sensible to balance his tight schedule with his light hearted attitude. Each day dd will also try to catch a nap of 30-60 mins of nap time to recharge battery ! This works very well so far ! Also agree with phankao and encourage dd to go jogging at least 2 times a week (provided no rain this days haha) Stress probably come when CA1 does not show expected results like Brenda10 mentioned.
My P6 Gal is Still Active in Her School Sports Team Training, Which Started on Week 1, 3 Times a Week.
        - So No Issue on Insufficient Exercise πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

Her Supplementary Lessons in School, 2x a Week has Started in Week 3.

External Gym, Calligraphy, Chinese Dance Classes on Sat, Sun is Still on Going ....

So Far, She has Complained of a Lot of HW from School, and R Tired when she's Back from School about 5.30pm on Most Days.
Normally \"Kong-Out\" for an HOUR or TWO While Doing her HW ....

When She Wakes Up, By herself (I Don't Have the Heart to Wake Her Up .... )
She Will Grumbly complete Her HW, For the Past Week or So, until 12 Midnite!

Where Got Time to DO Any Revision .... Or Past Year Papers? 😒 😒

Hope She Will Pick Up Steam and Speed Up in Completing her HW so She'll Have More Time to Rest ....
        πŸ™ πŸ™

Oh, Forgot to Add, We Still Spend An Hour or So Watching VV Drama together Every Nite - This is Our Mummy-and Daughter Bonding Time, Hopefully will Not have to Cut Back - Very Relaxing -le ....

These two nights, ds was struggling with his hw as school started their supplementary lessons this week. So he was like tired and try to finish his worksheets after back from school. We had tell him this year will be tough and need to press on. I was told after CNY more will be pouring in, as there are also remedial.

I let ds do something or sport that he likes to destress, (* he wanna to go for this year Osim kids triathlon)he's a active one therefore if don't let him \"vent\" out those extra energy he will be \"stress\" and be worse. πŸ˜„
The 1st 2 Sat, I already feel tiring running with him going for classes, I feel we are in a like relay and this will last us till PSLE.
I feel besides the children needs moral support and motivation, we parents also need some support and I really enjoy reading at this forum cos everyone is here to chat and share.

Ds will be having his 2 full day camps late next week in school. I believe he will enjoy himself although he's disappointed not overnight. πŸ˜›

Yes. I also told dd to expect more works pouring in and also the supplementary class after CNY. Since now still not much work then just do some ground work to grasp the technique and concepts in order to prepare a more challenging task ahead.

Same here I also like to visit this forum becuase of all of you.

                Cheers

For us the supplementary classes already started, but just once a week, not sure if the frequency will be increased after CNY or CA1. HW is a BIG issue though. But the teachers try to balance it, by avoiding HW on days of Supp lesson or less HW when there is HMT class. But DS not so disciplined and drags on HW to more then recommended time.

Had brought a few assesment books from pop, but so far very little has been done. The past year papers - not yet opened. Do not plan to buy anymore material!!!
Trying my best to balance DS time by encouraging to take nap(he would rather read library books...)
Its really comforting to know all are in the same shoes. :lovesite:

                      NB:

haha, I mentioned \"stress\" just curious if any parents started to feel it.

Mum1113 – \"worry\" probably instead of stress I should say, wonder if kid have enough time to rest, supp class started this week + CCA, 4 full day @ sch, with homework & tuition work to complete. So far, ds is coping well I just need to ensure he have enough rest too. πŸ™‚

So far haven't felt stress yet. May be the 1st stree will kick off if the CA 1 Exam is not performing well. Just my 2 cents thought

Agree! \"Stress button trigger\" when CA1 result shows not performing well. Lets pray for them! Cheers!

Have time for everything with 4 full days in school? Still have time for tuition? Mine doesn't but has 2 music classes (maybe can consider 3 even but that's theory and will end soon. haha!). At least music is not \"studying\".

That's why \"worried\", will have to monitor and adjust accordingly I hope!
At least 3x CCA a week also helps my DS to relax too.
