Science is my ds best subject he usually score 95 marks or above

But he only scored 89 marks for p6 preliminary
I Hope he can hit his record ...I know I have become
Very greedy now but 人心不足蛇吞象嘛 pls forgive me .

You must be very proud of your DS. ^^
don't demand more, just get the score that he could achieve the best.!!

Don't worry, my ds does not know that I expect that of him as
He is already so stressful, so I did not add burden to him
I hv told him that as long as he has done his best I do not mind
what score he will get

Seem like all mummies of top performer. Anyone know what will be T score for student with all Bs?

Formula for T-score: T-score for subject = 50+10*((raw score - mean)/standard deviation)

The T-score for any subject is dependent on the mean and the standard deviation of the cohort for that subject. It is practically impossible to pin-point a T-score for all Bs as it is dependent on the standard of the paper and the performance of the cohort.

Take the case of an easy paper, \"B\" can mean a very low T-score for that subject if the mean and standard deviation is centering around \"A\" (possibly below 50). In the case of a difficult paper, \"B\" can mean a better T-score for the subject if the mean and standard deviation is centering around \"C\".

Hope this gives you some clarification.

haizz come to think for it my DD is GEPer but her math already get or most likely get 92. Err didn't you know that NYGH's principal has reassured everyone repeatedly that as long as you put them as first choice, your wait list is a CO ?
Why worry ?

92 marks still not good enough? WL=CO from NYGH still feel sad and stressed? Think the person feeling most stressed now should be your DD! :nailbite:

Time management is the key for tomorrow Science paper. Don't linger too long at the MCQ. Write fast for OE and please allocate time sensibly. All the best for last paper (for most kids)! :rahrah:
