Hi yqyq, i guess different kids/parents have different experience..

For my kid, she loves going for class and SA1 compo she performed well. its a relief for me because PSLE is round the corner. I'm surprised when u say that she doesn't give feedback as she's quite 'on' for my girl's class, often staying late to address all our enquiries. Materials wise, i think many centers have good materials. LL has excellent materials but my girl struggled in the class for 2 years..sigh..

I feel it's the teacher and quality interaction than worksheets that matters...something not easy to find. 😄
        Hi,

Glad to hear ur dd loves the class and does not really affect her...but too bad loh for my dd class..next lesson start immediate after her lesson..so do u think she still able to stay late and provide feedback ??? :slapshead:

          Belle:

          Hi TAS,

That's great!! Yippee :snuggles: . I have been waiting to hear this for a while. I am definitely enrolling my P1 gal with you if you are starting one on Sunday afternoon.

          Hi Belle,

We hope to do so too but right now, the teachers who can teach this
level are not able to commit to this timing so we are still
looking for teachers to take this class. If we cannot find
the manpower, then we would not be able to start the class.
          Sorry about that.

          TAS

          Dear TAS,
😞 . I pray hard that we could look forward to one soon..

Just saw my gal's english papers given back to us yesterday and she only managed to get about 70%+. I note that she is quite good with grammar but her composition and comprehension were rather weak which resulted her poor score.

So, if I am looking for a centre that teaches grammar, creative writing, etc (so called \"academic\") in a fun way with little homework (don't want to stress kid), which is a better option? Lorna Whiston, BC, LCentral or ICR?? Any advise from anyone? :scratchhead:

So, anyone has comments on Lorna Whiston for P1? Really wish to know if their approach is effective.

Will you be starting a class for Pri 3 in the East on Sunday afternoon?

                Thank you

                  BigDad,

Thanks for your advice but my child didn’t like it after the trial…scratching head since I had heard so much positive feedback from this forum…

                  Any other recommendation? Thanks.

                      Hi kodomo,

Yes that is true but the demand for P3/4 and P5/6 for
15-16 was more so we have opened up extra
classes for these 2 levels. So currently,
the other slots left for P1/2 is at Bukit Timah.
There are about 2-3 slots left there.

                      TAS

                        Dear Belle,

We would really like to open another class on Sunday afternoon but now
the teacher who could make it has other commitments and so
we are trying still trying to look for teachers but the chances honestly
at this point are quite slim.

There are 2 other timeslots where we can have classes in the East:
                        - Sunday 9.30 am - 11.30 am (can start soon once we have
                        4 students of same level)
                        - Sunday 6.30 pm - 8.30 pm (most probably can start but also
                        dependent on teacher availability)
