Hi Otah,EstherAg:
Hi, anyone know about dsa under sport domain water-polo? If yes, please share the info. Thanks
First of all, did your child participate in any waterpolo competition before, representing school or state?

that is from past years' pattern
Really? But the website indicate by 27th Aug. I remember some students already received the CO during PSLE oral last year. RI seems to be more efficient. Their registration closed the latest, interview also start later than HCI, but it seems like they informed the students earlier.
CO out around national day
Rejection letter out by the following week.

I remember it was out very near PSLE Oral day for RI and NUSH for past 2 or 3 yrs. Many parents were complaining why didn't they keep it till Oral is over. For HCI, my ds got it just the day before Oral. Worried that it may affect the emotion of some of his classmates I reminded him not to mention it when he went for oral. But then the classmates was already aking around talking about it when he reached school. The kids are like \"no big deal\" and only the parents were worrying.

I know of one parent who kept the dsa result from his child till the oral over but the child already know the result is out when he went to school.

I remember the chatter the past two years about whether to let the boys know the DSA results before Oral or to keep it from them so it won't affect their mood during Oral. I think it's true that parents are the more kancheong ones.

ya, i'm one of the kancheong parents.
when my DS received his grouping for HCI interview, I kept asking him abt his frens' grouping cos I am interested to know how HCI group the students for interview. But then hor, he says : ai yah, don't keep asking me lah.. my frens only noe they receive the notification, but dunno the group & time.\" To the children, as long as they receive, it's good enug. -
If the CO does come through, will the parents or the school be informed or both? If you have multiple offers, when do you need to make the decision whether to take or reject the offer?

Parents will be informed. You need to exercise your option after the PSLE exams. You can check the exact date from the MOE website. -

school will only know when they compile the PSLE result on result day, unless the kids tell the teacher they got DSA offer.Zekezachzoom:
