what are these tests? DSA selection tests for those applicants?
to RI via math domain - probably can count with fingers on one hand unless they are also GEPpers. they are looking for talent beyond their peers. so if there are 70+ platinum holders, these are peers, you are just one of them, nothing special. If you are holding SMO gold, may be you are special compared to your peersHyperKiasu:
So each yr, how many are DSAed into RI via Math Domain? and also how many DSAed into HCI via Math Domain?
if the top 20 platinum has slim chance, what else do they look for?
thanks
to HCI - they don't have specific math domain, just generally academic domain, and you are exempted from math test if you hold platinum from SMOPS; and if you are also bilingual talent, you are also exempt from Chinese test
half of the 450 intake are DSAed, among these DSAed, how many are geppers? any idea?
previously i tot top MO performers (20 out of 1000+, i.e. 2%) will be someone sought for by top sch....now seems

HyperKiasu:
yes those are DSA 'selection' test in addition to the interview for HCI. in my opinion, this is differentiated from the 'domain' selection test by RI in ma, sc, el, and cl

both RI & HCI takes in via DSA half the cohort
not sure how many under DSA to HCI are GEPpers, but you have an idea as the whole iSpark is about 80+ to 90, including those who come in via S1
as for RI, approx 160~170 of the 225 are GEPpers, may be around 30 - 40 are sports DSA, and the balance are mainstream students with 'exceptional talents beyond peers'... -

DSA r nearly dominated by GEPpers.

oh ya, for the top 20 MO performers, perhaps also dominated by GEPpers...
so those DSAed into RI via Math Domain are really exceptional talents....
anyway, the other half of 450 vacancies are opened for PSLE-d.....fair...hahah.... -

For Main stream Kids wanting to Try DSA via Academics, Unless the Kids R
\"students with Exceptional talents beyond peers\",
It is More Advisable to Focus to Do well in PSLE, and Apply thru S1 Postings

Maybe Can Check if this is Shown in the CCA Available Vacancy List for the Year 1 Intake.
It is Shown in my Gal's. -
Just to check. If dd successfully got a CO from xx school but when her result came out to be better than expected, can she give up the offer and proceed with the mainstream posting to another school instead?
