better you both check with schools if any alternate choices avail before deciding either one. there is a email id given in NUSH website for queries [email protected] & Ri is [email protected] with details of your child or call them direct monday

I have the same problem with G Tan,. According to RGS's email, we are not allowed to change the date. Who have the idea whether NUSH will allow us to change to another day?


My dd is from main stream and we applied academic(Math).

According to my knowledge, you are not allow to change the dates

My DD received email from RGS to go for selection test

My DD also received the email from RGS for selection test but at the same day she has Prelims mother tongue (NTML) Oral. RGS already mentioned they cannot change the date. Also I am sure Prelims Oral cannot be changed. What to do?

hi mamona,

Oral exams in school are largely spread across several days. Try speaking to your DD's school. i am quite sure the school will accede to your request and put your DD with another batch of candidates for oral.

Thanks DVL for the sharing regarding the domain specific selection test. Did you son get a co in the end? I think 3hrs of test for 1 single subject is really long. I'm sure it is tough but would it be way beyond p6 level? The email from RGS also mentions that Critical & creative thinking will also be tested. Is it something similar to HAST?


Dd is going for the selection this sat. We're super curious now :lovesite:

it is way beyond P6 level, beyond SMOPS and beyond RI World Math (for math domain)...and similarly for other subject domain. I shared before, last year some students 'geng' to enter DSA under MT domain ..... and got a rude shock on the type of question asked in the selection test for Chinese MT !!!! (of course did not get CO)

No it is a centralised exam conducted by all the non-tamil mother tongue language school. And it is only one day exam.
