RGS has sent out rejection letters already?
I am just registered as my daughter received NYGH interview on 30 July.new_julie:
May be rgs send out CO letter batch by batch, so the first batch can be very soon as next week ! Look up for it and have your neck start stretching ...
But she got rejected from RGS.
I am curious for the HYGH interview questions. What type questions will asked?
GEP or mainstream? If GEP, any interview? -

Just to check …rejected by RGS means not even a chance to go for an interview?
Yes. I cannot remember clearly. Roughly ~2 weeks ago we received the email notification for reject. -
Is your child under gep? Have your child went for interview? My dd is not under gep and had went for selection Math test. Wonder will I be notify whether she is qualify to go for interview?
My daughter is not under gep and we got rejected without interview chance. -

OIC.. Mine was last year DSA. After DS had his attendance marked, he was told to sit at a particular row. As the other 2 seats on that row were already occupied, DS just sat on the only available seat left (middle seat). The seating arrangement could have been pre-arranged, now that you mention what your DS has observed. It just didn't occur to us then.
one of the boy asked him. As for the other one, the interviewer happen to tell them that he has the highest score amg the 3. U mean yours also free sitting? All my DS classmates were also pre-arranged.firefly38:
Agree with Flowermonaster.. Btw, the 3 boys from the same group (row) are usually from different schools, how did your DS know their scores? You mean your DS asked the other 2 boys (though they were strangers who had just met the first time)? :scratchhead: -
Before joined, i am interested to come here to get some info on NYGH’s interview. Now i changed my mind. My daughter is just 12 years old girl and let her to handle her own things. If she is not capable, even pass the interview and got the CO with my helps, she will later faces a lot of problems during her 6 years school life.

No. She got sicks during GAT test and only answered 45 GAT questions. I guess RGS's first screening is based GAT results. If GAT results did not reach the cut-off points, they will strictly reject without any selection test. -

I was there and observed that all seats labelled, like 1A1, 1A2, 1A3,..etc. If free seating, then why need to label?

According to my dd n classmates who had gone for the interview, they r specifically told not to talk about the interview or reveal questions asked. These very \"obedient girls' (my dd included)\" lips have been really sealed till now! :rotflmao:
