umm.... let me see if my DS will want to celebrate with me. :scratchhead: Actually, my DS has not gone out with his frens before... They've tried to arrange during school holidays, but were not successful...
Mine either invited all his friends home or he went to their house.phankao:

oh yes!! Very impt day! & also a Day's Leave to celebrate \"PSLE Exam Over\"!!!
Can't wait for that day to arrive.
Mine so happy when PSLE over - on last day, all arranged to go out and play with friends. For many days, we had loads of his friends over the house. Who cares about celebrating with parents!?! ;D -
[The programme is called E W Barker Scholar Programme for those who have COP below 240. Those 240 n above will do IP route. But if they do well in sec 2 they will be transfer to IP so some boys will still go thru this DSA sport route even if they have to go for the 4 yr programme first. This programme will be v good for those real sport talents as it cater to their trainning n learning needs.
Dear mum42, could you please enlighten the readers here about the source of information that E W Barker Scholar Programme is for those DSAed Sports students who scored <240. I could not find the same information in any article linked to this programme. Thanks -

It appears to be quite different from what mum42 mentioned. -

Jtoh n 4lessStress as I have mentioned in my earlier Post I am not to sure how the programme runs too . The center had just sent one of the boy into IP and another boy into this programme this year. So the manager had brife some parents on this topic just in case those doing DSA this year do not hit the require COP and also not everyone will be successful for the DSA trial too. -
A small number of children in my DS school have received email from their affiliation secondary school to invite them to apply through DSA (academic) for their new IP program starting next year. The school also invites parent to their IP talk. The DSA application starts as early as 9 April.
I wonder how easy it is to get DSA under own affiliated school. I know for my younger boy, the number they take is under DSA for affiliates very low. Well, probably bc not independent school too so can only take a few students. SJI maybe different - can take in more since it is an independent school.
