My son got wait list from VS, any parent can give me some idea about this,


Dear Parents and Applicants,

Thank you for your interest in Victoria School and the patience you have given us throughout the application process. Even though we have hundreds of applicants, the Admissions Committee has given serious thought to every single student. Unfortunately, due to limited places, the committee has to put you on the wait list for the time being. We will inform you if we are offering you a place by 28 August 2012 (Tuesday).

Just heard from my DS' classmate that another of their classmate who went to SJI's first selection test/interview has already received a letter that he is not successful. Anyone heard similar news??[/quote]
today I called them, the staff said that the results are not yet released, will be in released by the end of next week or by 1st week of Sept, but not sure about the 1st phase, may be they want to maintian confidentiality

Thanks god that my DS is still very positive towards himself whether on studies or mentally although no sound at all after the dates of tests. Being a mum, I am glad enough to hear that he is looking forwards to his sec schooling, can't wait to learn subjects like A Maths, geography etc. He may not be the best, but his imitation of learning really impressed me. Hope that all parents and students here do well as well. Give more courages to our child! :rahrah:

Congratulations to all DC and parents who have received CO / wait list from the schools. I am truly happy for all of you. :celebrate:

For those who did not receive CO or wait list - there is still PSLE! Thrive on and I am sure good news await for those who work hard.

DS got CO from ACSI and VS. We are still waiting for SJI. I too called SJI. I was told that we will know by Sept. No other information was given. I asked if it will be by phone calls/sms/writing (email/letter) - the lady told me that it would be a formal notification. Guess we will just have to wait.

It does look like SJI phase 1 results are out. :scratchhead:

Any news from hci? Did anybody call them? Waiting anxiousely for hci result.
