Ya, no guarantee for CO. Just heard that my DS's classmate who score > 80% is on waitlist. I was a bit surprise. My DS's score is slightly lower than him, but we received the SMS on offer. Now, I'm praying that the sms was not sent wrongly... since there's no name mentioned on the SMS.
No, that is not stated .... But to be exempted from RI DSA GAT, the boy must have > 80% for p6 gep sa1 + ct1 result. There again no guarantee for a CO.vlim:
out of curiosity, in order to get CO from RI, so our DS must get >80% for three years in P4, P5 and P6 or only SA1 in P6...Please share your view.
Thanks :scratchhead:

Thks elkniwt, slmkhoo & BeContented. Ya, I know I should trust him. Just can't help worrying. DS told me must trust RI's staff.Believe in your ds, yukilei !! :hugs: He must have done pretty well at the interview or have the qualities / x-factor that the school is looking for. :rahrah:

The reason that I
is because this boy is also a outspoken child. Looks like the interview is not just seeing whether the child can talk.
GoodDad, I know last year, there're quite a number of Gepper who score 82% did not receive offer from RI. But this boy's score is higher than this. -
elkniwt:
Thank you elkniwt. Most of the COs we hear in the forum go to our geppers. So it is especially gratifying / reassuring to hear of your son, a mainstreamer, getting a WL, a CO and an oncoming interview at RV. :rahrah: :rahrah:
Jia you!! BeContented and ds, cheering you on!!BeContented:
Yes, DS received a CO.......after he confirmed the RV interview.
Initially, RV was high on our choice .... along the way, it kinda lost some of its appeal. So I guess while the parents have decided which to narrow down to, DS has yet to make up his mind. Will let him go.....
Frankly, when we first applied for DSA, was not hopeful at all as not only was DS a mainstreamer, he was from a academically weak neighborhood school. Wasn't even sure he could clear 1st round..... just trying our luck and praying for at least 1 WL. Guess DS surprised us
PSLE is coming......all the best to everyone.....GEP & mainstream.

:rotflmao:
Your DS' classmate GEP results>80% may have performed badly in interview  -
slmkhoo:
She applied last year and didn't get an offer, but got in through PSLE results. However, we returned to our home overseas after the PSLE, so she will enter Yr2 in Term3 next year.
OIC, welcome back, wish you and your DCs adjusting well. :rahrah:ruohoo97:

But like what Kiasucy had said, it's systemised sms, no one will answer.
Ya, I feel sorry for the boy. He must be very upset. -
Congrats those got co parents. My DS still got no news from RV. No interview, no SMS, no call and no letter. Just give up and told my DS to study hard for psle.
