DSA 2012

Does anyone here has any feedback / advice on Cedar volleyball team? My DD is keen to get into this school via DSA sport. Would appreciate if anyone has any comment to share? Thanks.

Hi! Does anyone know the format of the interview conducted by Hwa Chong for DSA? What are the topics they ask generally? Is it conducted in English or Chinese?
Generally in English. However, some parents mentioned that some interviewers do ask 1 to 2 question in Chinese. -
Thanks, Yukilei and Fretting. What about the Maths test? Are they tested on P6 stuff? How long is the test?
-
Not sure about a maths test. There was a free response test, which covered general current affairs/common sense topics. e.g. environment etc.

I heard that there're 3 questions for the free response test. One of last year question was about \"going green\". Guess it's good to spend some time reading newspaper -

I guess \"gained admission into a DSA school\" means the child has accepted the CO. If the child has not accepted the CO & go through secondary school posting but not posted to RI, they can still take up the Supplementary Intake Exercise right? For students enroling into Year 1

Yes, that's who the Supplementary Intake Exercise is meant for. Those who participated in the S1 Central Posting Exercise but did not get posted to RI.

We are planning DSA via asthetics route.
Is there a website that shows a summary of the asthetics CCA that is wanted for DSA by each school? -
MMM:
Don't think so. Best thing to do is to go to the websites of the schools you're interested in and check there. Straight from the horse's mouth. You can also check some of the threads here and see if anyone's posted relevant info. Which aesthetics domain is your child interested in? There are some forummers here who might be able to advise you.We are planning DSA via asthetics route.
