DSA 2012

Agree with you... divine intervention. :hi5:
My dh told me this morning that he had been
for the DSA result to show a clear indication on where she should go. I think it cannot get clearer than this
Just hope my DD will not take it badly when I tell her later, even though she had always been quite neutral between both schools. :xedfingers: -

Hi cluelessmama,
I look at it as \"divine intervention\" - My dd has always been a \"fish n chips\"(sorry snow crystal, I am stealing your line) cum grilled salmon girl rather than a xiao long bao girl. Almost everyone whom I know says that she might eventually land in rgs. It was only after the gep fiesta that she became interested in nanyang. Her reason? - that's a place where she can improve her command of chinese language.
Throughout the whole dsa process, she has told me on several occasions that she would choose nanyang if they accepted her. Actually, I have been quitely worried that she might not fit into nanyang. This is because even she herself has said that her personality and profile are better fits for rgs than nanyang. So with this outcome, at least I can lay fear to rest.
Agree with you that the outcome is a little perplexing. Based on what she told me about the interview, I thought she was quite ok. Perhaps from the interview, they could see the initial \"rgs\" etched on her forehead :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
I like your analysis.
And I agree that sometimes things do happen by divine intervention. And possibly your 'RGS etched on forehead' reason may not be far from the truth.

Thanks! ... I'm asking on behalf of others. Hope it comes soon since it's already the 28th.
Still no news from NJC, anyone receive CO from NJC yet ?daisypod:
Anyone has news of NJC, SCGS and TKGS?
Hi!! I'm also waiting for SCGS. Applied thru DSA sports & still hv not heard from them.

:congrats: to all KSPs and their DDs who secured CO/WL at NYGS. Looking at the incredible timings of the postings, there were many sleepless KSPs across SG last nite!
From the outcomes of the HCI and NYGS results, the two schools seem to have the time to review all angles before deciding who to offer rather than looking at pure SA1 results.
Best wishes to all DCs for PSLE regardless of DSA statuses. They are many \"hungry\" P6ers out there aiming for the top.
Our DCs must be feeling our stress for the last weeks on top of prelims and PSLE stresses. They need our support and encouragements ever more.
Superksmum, I like yr DD \"can-do\" attitude.
BTW, not sure abt the Jet Li and Gong Li combi though? Can we find younger pairing? -
I also believe in fate & divine intervention. DH & I all prepared to accept the only CO DS has on hand after being rejected by HCI. Thot DS already agreed but last night, he raised the possibility of forgoing the DSA & try again via PSLE. :yikes: :faint:
Now I dunno what to do. Just told DS, we'll discuss about this after his PSLE is over. So he better make sure he studies hard. -
tired mom:
I'm sure our dd will be fine. I have asked her how would she feel if one school were to reject her. Her answer was this: then go to the school that wants me. that's the reason I applied to 2 schools, right?! :imcool:Agree with you... divine intervention. :hi5:

Hi
Received email notification, my DD is on WL for NYGH. Anyone knows what aggregate she must get from PSLE to get in? Or this WL is just as good as CO? -

Ya... still have time. Can discuss after PSLE.... no need to stress nowI also believe in fate & divine intervention. Concentrate and \"chiong\" for PSLE first! -

DS actually prefers HCI > RI, though he is ok with both sch. When his good friend (whose result is better than him) didn't get CO from RI but CO from HCI, I was thinking : Oh it's really fated !!!
But who knows, he just told me yday that his good friend may put RI as first choice. :slapshead: He then said he'll try to convince his good friend. I cannot tahan so told him that he has to read info from both schools & decide base on curriculum, culture, feeling, liking... etc & not his good friend. -

Congratulations to all KSPs and DDs who got CO or WL from NYGH!
:hugs:

My dd got rejected by NYGH but luckily has a CO from RGS. Like cluelessmama, I too, think my dd had 'rgs' all over her. Probably didn't help that she told NYGH that her siblings are at Raffles
