Hi all,
looking at DSA via sports.... to be specific, badminton. anyone knows which sec sch accept DSA via badminton?
Err.....where can i hv that info ? -
Need a little advise here. Anyone tried DSA via uniformed groups? Is it advisable since child will need to commit 4 years of CCA involvement? Btw, I am not talking about DSA to top schools, but one near to my home. Reason being I am not sure will DS meet the cut off point (224 & up) for the sch as his results fluctuates.

Does getting a platinum in SMOPS gaurantee a CO in HCI? Let's say if a child gets platinum in SMOPS but overall school result only average, let's say 75-79% for GEP student. What is the chance of getting a CO?
Think so... guess smops helps many vendors make good revenue in recent years. Heard it is quite expensive (a training package can cuase >$2K!!! ). What if those who can't afford the training? They only has PSLE no chance for DSA to HCI .... -
Kiasucy:
not all who goes for smops training will get platinum, it is a matter of aptitudeFlowermonaster:

It does not guarantee a CO in HCI but good chance. HCI has their own selection criteria. I think interview is the important factor. Ds' s classmates, one of the top GEP student in the school, was only given a waitlist offer but CO from RI 2 yrs ago. -

So the boy didn't get 80% in his mid-year, passed GAT & gets RI CO? Or don't need to take GAT, with platinum & less than 80% & gets RI CO?Flowermonaster:
