Won't know yet, think only after the Sec one posting then will know. We can only gauge base on 2011 COP for individual school.
Correct me if i am wrong, i believed the COP for all schools(be it DSA schools or not) are determine by demand & supply & of course how well this year cohort do.

so even if we hv the Cos and dont make the grade nearest to the sec schs COP then its as good as not being accepted, some yrs back i heard that if ur given a co, all u need is to sit for the psle n pass or just score 200 marks.
i know ppl who can make it thru sec 1 posting on their own but tried dsa just in case the child go blur during psle,,,,, some kids are really like that during normal exams missing a few pages. That does nt make the child academically weak but psle is all about results. So i guess anything can happen to the child if he is too stressed.

You just have the score the minimum at PSLE for entry into the Express stream, which in most cases is 200. Nothing's changed.

My DD asked that question during her DSA interview. The teacher told her that if she received the CO, she is only expected to score 220 which is the national Express stream COP. DD CO letter mentioned the same as well however it did not contain the 220 number.

HCI was expected tho we did hope But DS already surprised us cos we thot at most one WL. Thru this exercise, we also kinda gathered where his standard roughly is, so will not allow him to give up his CO & try via PSLE. One of the CO, here I come Kekeke. And DS also has his iPhone wish granted liao, as long as he can get any CO.

Hi, I'm new to ksp...need some advice from the expert parents. Between NUSH and SJI,which is a better choice to send my DS. Anyone can share the pros & cons for these 2 schools. Thanks.

NUSH has no major exams which is internationally recognised. Also some worry on the over emphasis on Maths and Science there, thus leading some to think that they are neglecting the Humanities and Languages.

SJI on the other hand would have a reknown broad base holistic education leading to the internationally recognised IB exams. They have an established track record with very strong alumni too.
