AMAS, if you're worry abt MT, I can tell you that VS's MT is not as easy as well. I think, most of the HCL in sec is not easy. My cousin's DS is very strong in MT during primary school. Now he's in VS, he only manage to score 50+ for HCL during his first year in VS.Hi,
Comparing VS and DHS
Anyone got information please advise
My DS is stronger in EL than MT but he seem keen of DHS.
DHS is further away then VS from the place we stay and scare we will struggle for the MT in DHS.
Thanks
AMAS
Please advise

Dear All, Oct 22, my dd will be away. Can parent collect option form on her behalf? or the option form will be sent to home?

This year, there is provisional offer, states that PSLE T score must be >235, but I am not sure whether the score requirement is same for all provisional offers.
Who did you hear it from? The only information you should accept as truth is from the school. If the school stated in a letter that there is a minimum acceptable T-score then that is true. If the school didn't state anything, it is just a rumour.Mrs Ong:
Hi,
Can anyone tell me about RGS DSA? I heard must get a T score of 240 even they accept the child under DSA. Then how to opt for the school as the child's T score is not out yet? -
hi,
The preference form will be given to you by your Primary school during the week of 22 Oct in a sealed envelope. In the sealed envelope, you will be given the pin which you need for acceptance by internet. The website will be available 24hours from 22 Oct - end of that week.
You can authorise someone to pick up the form for you from the school and inform you the pin then you submit the online application overseas. When collecting the form from schoo, your proxy needs to submit the authorisation form, a copy of face and back of your proxy, a copy of your dd’s Birth Cert and both parent’s copy of NRIC face and back. The authorisation form can be downloaded from MOE website.
hope the above helps. -

Hi icymummy!(: All P6 students can apply for DSA this year, but I am not too sure if DSA period is over already or what... But as long as the DSA period for the school you desire to apply to, there should not be a problem applying, but being accepted is another issue altogether(: Hope this helps!
Btw, just for your extra information, DSA is normally for students who are outstanding in a particular subject in their academics, or in music or sports. You can check out the school website to check what DSA they want. -
Thanks chatterbox321. My kid will be in Pri 6 next year. I’ve seen from some school website that their DSA is in March till June 2013 for next year. But there’s so many schools. Which school is good in what or for what? It’s rather confusing. And how do we deem outstanding in subjects? Can CCA participations, UNSW results, etc be taken into considerations?
