DSA 2012

Hi Koh-i-Noor,
Thank you for explaining.
my DS wants to go RI but i've seen his scores (pri5) :nailbite: , yet doesn't want to burst his bubble (hope he will try much harder)
.
We've been asking him why he wants to go RI, but he refused to tell us. Maybe it's the A.C.E program & RI congress he's been to this year.
I also don't know if RI wants/needs a portfolio to be done.
:? And how to go about doing it? I'm lost as in I don't know if he should try for DSA at all. :scratchhead: -

What kind of portfolio RI is looking at? If a student doesnโt have any achievements so far, how can he show the portfolio? will he be invited to sit GAT?

My DD did not get through the DSA of the top 2 sec schools, instead, she got offer from a lower ranking one and we decided to accept it. Now, PSLE results are known. My DD got 268+2. What nice if had not accepted the offer of DSA. Is there any chance to get rid of the current school and appeal back to the top twos? Thanks for help for those "happy" but "regretful" parents.

No chance at all. -

My DD almost ended up like your DD. Luckily we read the terms carefully and she decided to take the risk. She scored 270 +3 and is on her way to her dream school. Can't change once DSA CO is taken up. -

Yr child may be happier in the school she was offered CO. She may turn up tops, remember all schools are good schools. -

Only regret on that the top two schools are really close to my living place. -
I did not submit my s1 option form as my dd already got a school thru DSA and we donโt intend to take up the 3rd language so I did not submit anything at all .
