All schools. The directive was from MOE. Once you accept a DSA offer, you have to honour it and hence cannot switch school after PSLE results.

I see. Did this start only last year or has been like this all along?

Enforced strictly only last year. Consider carefully before you accept DSA offer since the chances of not being able to change is very high this year.

Well, mainstream students who consistently doing well in school has a good chance of doing well in PSLE unlike GEPpers are on a syllabus not so focus on PSLE preparation and at this stage still busy with non-PSLE stuff.
Thanks for your kind words of encouragement. The problem is my DS's heart is fixed on RI and we know that RI DSA is very tough for main streamers.

Yes, we received the date...it's next Mon. Believe there are a few test dates, it depends on when you submitted the application, I suppose. We submitted 2 weeks ago. When did you submit yours?

call the main line and ask to speak to someone regarding DSA application. They will forward to the right person.

Anyway, you will surely receive a reply. Everyone who registers will be invited to sit for GAT

This is where I am coming from. If mainstreamers has consistent good academic results, they are very likely to do well likewise in PSLE to gain admission to RI or all other top school (except school or sport and SOTA). To go via DSA, they need to shows good score in GAT first and GEPpers have shown it in P3, some also need to retake if they can't perform well in GEP.
