All schools. The directive was from MOE. Once you accept a DSA offer, you have to honour it and hence cannot switch school after PSLE results.

Are your ds from GEP or mainstream?

My DS from mainstream and we know very well that we got practically zero chance, becos not GEP. But just don't want to regret not trying.

Well, mainstream students who consistently doing well in school has a good chance of doing well in PSLE unlike GEPpers are on a syllabus not so focus on PSLE preparation and at this stage still busy with non-PSLE stuff.

Mainstream. I suppose there is low probability of success thru DSA but no harm trying since my DS is aware that he still has a chance if his PSLE results are good enough.

I see. Did this start only last year or has been like this all along?

                  Hi! KS4Son
Who said mainstreamers have low chances or almost zero chance to be DSAed? Last year from my DS class, almost half or slightly more than half of them got in to IP schools thru DSa... Dun worry... This is just a learning experience for your DS. Ultimately the goal is still social university! Depending on your EQ... Dun worry be happy πŸ˜„

It used to be FOC and they test you all 4 subjects but not sure of the diff level. All doc need to be certified true copy. If it is your first choice go ahead.
Hi! Any idea will all RI DSA applicants get to sit for the GAT?

I have just received a notification today for my DS DSA at RI's to take the GAT test on 19 June, which is the first available date. I guess you should receive notification soon.
Mine will be on 18 June. There must be many timings for GAT.

                      All the best!

yeah, the test is kind of simple, much easier than other IP schools πŸ™‚ so it should be very easy to get in πŸ™‚
