Interesting that you are using your Genting points to redeem for Star Cruise. I always thought that it would be more worthwhile to change them for room at Gentings itself.

Furthermore, cruise redemption rates are quoted in currencies prescribed for each vessel, which only means that vessel departing from Singapore will have a point redemption rate in SGD currency, vessel departing from Malaysia will have rates quoted in RM, etc. If your points are quoted in a currency different from what the vessel follows, we will have to convert your points in its Star Cruises value.

We have cruises departing from Malaysia. However, Points Cabin Rate will be different as the vessel which departs from Malaysia is SuperStar Libra while in Singapore, the vessel is SuperStar Virgo. Please refer to the below cabin rates using points for SuperStar Libra. Please note that rates are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). As for SuperStar Libra, there will be a Standing Passenger charge.
