my child got 202 in PSLE…would i be able to appeal for a school with 208 COP? my choice school is pierce secondary school…does anyone know how to appeal?

Which school is better between Dunman secondary sch and Temasek Secondary sch?


Dunman Sec is band 5 but COP 231 whereas Temasek Sec is band 3 but COP 230 which is lower by 1 point.

Band 3 is better than Band 5. Band is based on school's O Level average L1B5, 1st Language and Best 5 subject.

It would mean taking in lower score but producing better result. So it's obvious. The other taking in better score but producing lesser result.

The reason why we did not include NYGH is because it did not seem to make any sense to put it as 2nd choice since the COP is higher and my DD is -1 point off last year's COP.

it def makes sense to indicate it as 2 nd choice, since u already have RGS for 1 st choice.

Just came back from TKSS with my son.


Quite like the school but a bit too far. Is it a waste if I apply TKSS as 1st choice? Moreover, my son is not good in CCA.

As for Hai Sing, I'm afraid that the students there will be a bad influence to my son as the newspaper has reported many cases about them.

Absolutely wrong and misleading advice! Trying for Victoria with 230 is asking for the impossibe.

i totally agree with maid........
trying for VS which COP is 15 points above T-score and still stand a chance ??? did i see/read wrongly
moreover, VS is gaining its popularity with its IP status
u are just reducing her choices to 5 instead of 6

In my humble opinon, the first two choices should be your \"dream school\"not necessarily close to your own score. As long as you have one or two secured choices, you are free to make a choice. :D[/quote]Dream school is one thing, but that does not mean throwing away one choice into thin air.

Hi, my gal scored 240 for her PSLE… she is so disppointed with herself as she wanted to get into Anderson Sec… I was wondering if I should try for Anderson as a 1st choice, followed by Yishun Town, Nan Chiau, Chung Cheng Yishun, Presbyterian then AMK Sec… Can anyone comment if it is wise?


Should I go ahead with Bukit Panjang Govt High as the 1st choice instead? I reckon it is a safer choice…

Will she stand a good chance if she appeal for Anderson basing on leadership qualities? She is the assistant head prefect in her primary school…

What other criteria will the school consider on appeal normally?
