Just need some recommendations. The recipe calls for dry milk. What shd I use?? I do not buy powdered milk.

I just bought a can of powdered milk from the supermarket. Can't remember the brand. It's something the family can drink.

I think, you don't need to use dry milk or milk powder But substitute part of water with any fresh milk

I thought of trying wholemeal bread too, but I will be going out this afternoon. Maybe I will bake early evening, but I heard baking wholemeal can be quite challenging.

Hi autumnbronze,
you can try using freshmilk.
I replaced water to freshmilk for my raisin bread, based on the recipe.
if I didn't remember wrongly, the Severin has wholemeal recipe. if you can wait, I'll pm you tonight. all measurement are in grams and ml for flour and water.

Alamak .... hmmmm. Since I had wholemeal flour, leftover from baking cookies some time back, thought I would use it.

We also eat wholemeal bread, very seldom eat white bread.

Lets see how it goes lah .... I got excuse mah. Am a novice, so nobody shd laugh at me if it does not turn out well
