My Cranberry Loaf.... Yummy!! Thanks to jtoh for her knife recommendation. At last I managed to slice my bread more professionally... but I only managed to slice into 6 slices as I have not acquired the slicing skills yet...
In the first picture, notice how high my loaf has risen...
Btw is there any kind kakis online right now to give the brand name of the bread flour, yeast, butter for the loaf in single post so that I can start buying

1. prima bread flour (thats what a few a are using)
2. I am using Schweppes recommendation for yeast (the french brand, you cannot miss it when you go to the baking aisle)
3. for butter I use lurpak, but I think any shd do)
Hope this helps. Wait for others' input, then you decide
1. Prima bread flour
2. Fleischmann yeast
3. Presidents butter
Hi all,
I've a question on the butter. Must it be unsalted since salt is added separately? Or slightly salted butter also can? -
Happy Mama:
:? :? Wondering if I should bake Butter Cake or Chocolate Cake using my Z machine, once Cranberry loaf is ready??

:ugogirl:
Wow! At this rate u will soon reach ur 401 loaves target. You bread mamas are doing great. I'm enjoying your e-breads
I think we should have a tally board to see who bakes the most number of loaves. May be some prize for the winner too. PH vouchers ??? -
Happy Mama:
I used Z's raisins recipe and just substitued raisins with cranberries. I reduced the cinnamon from 1/2 to 1/4 tsp too because I'm not sure how it'll taste with cranberries. Actually thought of leaving it out, but on 2nd thoughts, decided to have them, coz I love the smell of cinnamon...
Looks good!!!!! What recipe did you use and how much cranberry?jtoh:

Agree. There are 2 Zs promoters and both give good service. However, I tend to think the one named Ivy is friendlier and more forth-coming with her suggestions and ideas.
I also think that the z promoter was well-versed in product knowledge and did a good job in answering my questions sincerely. She wasn't trying to hard sell the product (sales prob also too good already lah). On the contrary, the s promoter was not very forthcoming. I had to prod her b4 she took the trouble to let me have a look at the manual.schweppes:
For me, it came down to space constraints. The Z is more space saving. I think when deciding which one to buy, must also consider kitchen top space. I decided to leave the breadmachine out in the open to remind me to bake more often. If keep in the cupboards, will be a case of \"out of sight and out of mind\". Really depends on each individual's needs.
I had actually left my home intending to purchase the s because I really believe its a good buy and value for money, but in the end got the z instead
When I was kay-poh-ing at Taka, the sales promoter was a guy and a bit blur. Not very service oriented compared to Tangs
