      Augmum and Happy Mama

Was at Bedok just now and went to check out the shop that sells the glass cutting board.

Confirmed, it is the shop two doors away from Shop n Save, called Rissen Departmental Store. They have taken over the unit vacated by Phoon Huat.

Yes, they are still selling the glass cutting board. The "A3" size (mine) is being sold for $9.90 and there is a smaller "A4" size as well, but I didn’t check out the price for that.

      Hope it helps.

Oh thank you so much for the information, 25hourmaid.. But Bedok is a little far for me. I will try to find it around my area, and if really cannot find it, I will then make a trip to Bedok πŸ˜‰

Eh... salt is actually quite crucial. It actually kills the yeast. So sugar is food to the yeast and promotes yeast proliferation and salt is to tame or control it. So if your bread didnt rise too well... you know the reason.

Oh dear, I hope not... anyway, we'll see how it goes. 1 hour more!

My rasin bread is done… The aroma is stronger this time cos it has cinnamon.

Cannot post the pictures yet but will do so in about an hr. This time it cuts into 10 slices and I increased the rasin from 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup.
